KDA GIVING BENEFITS

RECCURING GIVING
KDA recurring giving renews automatically. Sign up for recurring giving and we renew your gift on the schedule you choose – monthly, quarterly, or annually.

KDA Recurring Giving was created to sustain our Scholarship and Community Grant programs, helping students, artists, educators, and organizations build capacity and access opportunities throughout Kern County.

KDA annual giving is flexible and does not auto-renew. Give once or as often as you like.
KDA Annual Giving provides a simple way to make a contribution of any amount. Your unrestricted gift supports KDA’s mission and allows KDA to invest where support is needed most.

KDA Program Partners provide designated support to a specific KDA program, project, or initiative. Your contribution is directed to the program you select, allowing you to invest directly in the work you are most passionate about.
Program Partner opportunities may include support for KDA’s educational programs, community initiatives, performances, special projects, and other established KDA programs.

CORPORATE EMPLOYEE MATCHING
Double Your Impact | Any Amount
Many employers will match charitable gifts their employees make to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations. Because KDA is a registered nonprofit (EIN 77-0437598), your personal gift (recurring, annual, or program-specific) may be matched dollar-for-dollar, or at another ratio set by your company.
Matching gifts cost you nothing extra and can double (or more) the support that reaches scholarships, community grants, arts education, and long-term programs across Kern County and California’s Central Valley.
How Matching Gifts Work:
- Make your gift to KDA through any of the giving options on this page.
- Check whether your employer offers a matching-gift program (HR, benefits portal, or search tools such as Double the Donation).
- Submit your company’s matching-gift form. KDA will complete any verification the employer requires.
- When the match is received, your total impact and KDA’s ability to serve students, artists, and educators, grows.
Matching Gift Recognition:
When a match is confirmed, KDA treats the combined gift according to the applicable giving level and recognition guidelines. Depending on the total and the nature of the gift, recognition may include:
- Combined-gift acknowledgment
- Name or logo recognition
- Program or event recognition
- Impact updates on how the matched funds were used
Employees, retirees, and in some cases spouses or board members may be eligible. Policies vary by company; KDA is happy to help you confirm eligibility and complete paperwork.

Legacy and Long-Term Giving

The KDA Endowment provides an opportunity to invest in KDA’s long-term strength and sustainability. Endowment gifts help ensure that future generations continue to have access to dance, arts education, scholarships, programs, and opportunities throughout our community.
