Children will be invited to the Fox Theater to view a professional dance performance, participate in a Q & A session with the performers after the show, and participate in a dance class on stage.

Performance:  In collaboration with a variety of different Kern dance organization, children will be invited to view performances of ballet, hula, modern, contemporary, hip hop, Basque and Spanish dance.   Through visual stimulation, children will experience a great array of cultural and social dances.

 Master Class:  Taught by professional teaching artists, children will be invited onto the stage to partake in a beginning dance class.  While moving to live music, children will explore coordination, endurance, strength, spatial awareness, problem solving, team building, kinesthetic learning and understanding.
