Pull back the curtain of the Fox Theater in a manner never seen before on Saturday, September 20 at 6:00 PM at the Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater.
The night will illuminate your imagination and spark your love for the arts. Join us as we dine, drink, and DANCE the night away with movers, leaders, and visionaries.
KDA cares about recognizing artists who have helped MOVE our community. We acknowledge the efforts of those who have contributed to our arts and cultural scene, past and present, and are proud to shine the spotlight on them.
MOVE, KDA’s once-in-a-decade fundraising gala on September 20, will feature a video shining a light on the names of artists who were nominated to be recognized by the community via a nominating period hosted by KDA between May 1 – August 25, 2025.
The community was invited to nominate or self-nominate a “mover,” and all submissions were accepted.
The names on the MOVERS list are by no means exhaustive, as we know there are many more in our community who may not have been nominated.
We are proud to celebrate those who have MOVED our community – thank you for your time, talents, and resources that have created a vibrant Central Valley!
